"Well as someone who would possibly have access to information regarding a multitude of things I was hoping that you may be able to confirm or deny a rumor that i have heard around the city. I know your clan is well versed in the business of information so from what i have heard it i thought it important enough that it would be something you would be interested in. Although if i am mistaken I do deeply apologize for any time that i would waste."

Sal would look at the robed figure and would await a response.

"Thank you Elder." Sal would tip his head ans would fall in step with the elder just a step behind him. he would steel himself, elders were always unpredictable he would still need to be careful. he would wait till they would clearly be out of ear shot even for one skilled in auspex and would begin.

"Well Elder you seem to know something about me, so you know that i have long severed as something of an independent force in the city since before the arrival of the camirilla to liberate the city from the yoke of the Sabbat. This upheaval left the Sabbatwithout a base of power but they have remained defiant and many i have heard have gathered in the cliffs that are on the outskirts of the city. I have recently started to received word that some of those in their numbers are have gone missing, Those they had known to have survived. If you had captured any of the Sabbati am sure that the prince Alistair would make a stunning example of them for public display. My concern is that they have no idea of this force and with all the upheaval I am not sure that everyone in the camirilla has also been accounted for. I am worried that this may in fact be a third party that has come onto the board."

Sal would take a deep breath. "I am sorry elder if this is not worthy of your notice and that it is nothing but raving of a fevered ghoul who's master is long dead. but if something were to be powerful enough to hunt those of age in the sabbat i am worried it may turn its gaze toward those moving into the city. This time of settlement would allow it to move undetected."

"He was a Lasombra, by the name of Juan. from what i recall he was fairly high up in the previous administration, I had a few dealings with him while they controlled the city, paternity test and what not."

Sal would take a deep breath here and would have a very serious look on his face. "Elder i understand the zero tolerance of the Prince Alistiar, and Make no mistake regarding of whom i support. But I think at the moment much of the old regime seem me as truly somewhat independant from what is going on. And As such i could be able to gleen information for the current administration regarding threats and enemies for you and the Prince. Ghouls,, while they can be an important part of our culture are still mortals and can be bent to the will of those they serve The Ghoul in question was seeking the Vitae of the kindred to remain alive, as his expiration date is long past i think. So I think that some of these sources of information can be turned to our advantage in the short term."

Sal would look, trying to read the Elders body language. "Your Thoughts on the matter elder?"

"Generally i try not to hide my loyalties Elder. Especially from those who may be able to read more into their perceptions then most. I lie only when absolutely required. It is quite astonishing how much people will choose to not believe the truth simply because of its source. And the simple truth is I only wish for my independence. To be able to pursue my own understanding of this world i live in and the experiences it offers me."

Sal would chuckle. "its like asking a person what their favorite flavor of wine is. there are so many that it is to much to count. But in the end they all lead to the experience of intoxication. its just a matter of how pleasurable to road is and how fast you get their."

he would stroke his chin in thought. "I thank you for your concern Elder. But if this is happening to both sides then this is something that need to be looked into, possibly by the sheriff. Or have politics already descended upon this city to mire things in bureaucracy?"

"I meant only that Current politics of the city are preventing things from being looked after. Is there any service i can provide to you and to those of whom support the prince? I am just trying to find what my part can be in the service of the city." Sal would hold up his hand palms open as though to say he had nothing to hide.

"Well looks like i have some work cut out for me. I guess I have to speak then with my actions here. Thank you for your time Elder. If i uncover anything I will try to make sure that you are kept up to date on things. Is there a way i can contact you if I would like to reach you quickly?"
