Until recently El Cajon was a haven for Black Spiral Dancers. There three notable Caerns in the area that had to be rescued.
A village east of the city known as "The Crest" is the most powerful of the Caerns and is dedicated to healing
Just on the east side of downtown is a large city park that as a Caern has been dedicated to war.
To the south of town stretching between El Cajon and Mexico is a large Caern that is largely a desolate area with a few springs here and there to provide rest for the wearied traveler making the illegal cross from Mexico into the US. This Caern is dedicated to Stamina.
